both server [ mail105, and mail106] will have 2 Ethernet
- first ethernet for network connecnio as normal [Mail105 172.16.100.105 and Mail106 172.16.100.106 ]
- second ethernet for replication between 2 exchange severs [ Mail105 172.21.100.105 , and Mail106 172.21.100.106 ]
Step 01 : Witness Folder
Exchange DAG relies on the Windows Failover Cluster feature.
On a server (domain controller DC101 ), you must have a folder for quorum
Step 02 : add Exchange Trusted Subsystem group to administrators Group
On the Active Directory , add the Exchange Trusted Subsystem group to the Administrators group on AD
In the our case , add the Exchange Trusted Subsystem group to the pioneers\ Administrators group.
Step 03 : configure two NIC cards on exchange servers
on both Exchange servers configure 2 NIC cards for each server
