introduction

in previous article we have seen how to configure automatic classification based on file or email content 

this article we will how to create label and allow end user to choose labeling based on his convenience 

 

AIP Manual classification steps

below are steps to create manual labeling , which are similar to automatic labeling with little bit different 

  • Activate AIP through https://portal.azure.com/#home  >> which already DONE 
  • Create manual labels
  • publish Label with AIP policies
  • test AIP labeling on end user side 

 

create confidential label

let us to create manual labeling for company confidential

open https://protection.office.com

 

new label
set name
scope label on file and email
the action to ark label and encrypt
default settings
add watermark
watermark settings

next step is CROSS ROAD 

auto labeling should be OFF 

auto labeling off
protection settings
review and create

create personal label

beside of label : [confidential company assets ] 

we will create also manual label for personal use 

let us go

label scope
mark and encrypt

watermark settings
select watermark and header

add any content 

from sensitivity >> select your label
