please have a look to diagram above

in LAN subnet :

we have ali@pioneers.lab who is working on computer HR164.pioneers.lab

ALi has some technical issue and need help from smith@pioneers.lab who is member of  group IT@pioneers.lab and working from his computer IT165.pioneers.lab

we need to allow smith to access computer HR164.pioneers.lab to provide help to employee Ali

step01 : Enable the Remote Control Settings in client policy

the first step is to enable remote control policy

although we can edit default client settings , it’s better to create new policy for remote control specifically

administration > overview > client settigns > create custom client device settings
set policy name and select remote tools
click econfigur settings to enable remote tools and allow pioneers\IT group
sellect in reds
add pioneers\IT group as remote viewers
policy is enabled and IT group allowed

deploy policy to ALL computers

policy is created as we seen above

BUT,,,

NOT deployed yest > we will deploy policy to ALL client computers

right click policy and deploy

select deploy
select ALL desktop and server client
policy is deployed

Sync the SCCM policy on clients computers

we can wait until policy retrieval time to come the policy we bee sync to client computer automatically

OR ,,,

we can do that manually to save time on specific computers

this step we will synch policy with computer HR164

computer and users account
open control panel and select configuration manager
from action TAB > select machine policy retrieval and press run now
policy will be applied within minutes
after policy applied > remote tools is enabled

add IT group as remote tools operators

pioneers\IT group and members should be added to group [remote tools operators in order to have remote action on client computers

administration > overview > administrators users > add users or group
add IT group and select remote tools operators Role
group IT assigned with remote tools operators role

connect from IT165 to HR164

now smith@pioneers on computer IT165 will access computer HR164 using remote control viewer

user and computer
select remote control viewer
For Better View > Open Image in different TAB
select computer HR164.pioneers.lab
remote viewer tools ask permission from client computer HR164
on computer HR164 select approve
on computer HR164 we will see that smith@pioneers.lab has access to client computer
now smith has access to HR164 to help ali@pioneers.lab on technical issue
